IRAP ( Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist ) Therapy

In the ever challenging battle against degenerative joint disease the doctors at Kleinpeter & Cramer began using a new therapy called IRAP.  IRAP stands for Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist which is harvested from an injured horse's blood, processed, and injected into problem joints.

IRAP has been successfully used to reduce the destruction in joints affected by arthritis (also known as degenerative joint disease or DJD) in both humans and horses.  Once injected into a joint, the IRAP intercepts the protein interleukin thereby reducing joint inflammation and the damage that it causes.
